Who's ready to "turn the crank!"

Step on board this classic fishing machine along with crew members R.J. and Nicholas.  Whether it’s for tournament or fun you can be assured that this duo has the talent and skills required to make your trip a memory that will last a lifetime. (Read a few reviews of what their customers had to say!)

Gin Clear is a 38’ custom built Smith express with a spacious cockpit; great for when there’s multiple hookups and plenty of comfortable seating in the shade in between bites. Depending on conditions, EZ2CY enclosures can be opened up for excellent air flow as well as unobstructed views of whats going on around the vessel.

Most of the time Captain R.J. is scouring the water from up in the tower for a better vantage point than those in the smaller boats, some days giving Gin Clear the “edge,” especially for kite fishing or trolling a weedline.

Down below in the cabin there is a fully functional head as well as more bench seating and plenty or storage for well maintained, state-of-the-art tackle and equipment.

Trolling and kite-fishing (livebait) are the crew's primary methods of fishing but they are not opposed to drifting or bottom fishing as alternatives depending on time of year, target species, and whats been biting out there.  Livebait is an additional cost:  The crew always recommends bringing some because you never know whats going to swim up! Think of it like insurance; better to “have it and not need it” than to “need it and not have it!”

Captain R.J. and mate Nicholas work hard to to put their guests on fish.  Often times their day begins hours before the trip and cleanup or prep for the next day can last hours after.  Tips are appreciated and 15-20% of the trip price is the norm.

The crew on Gin Clear looks forward to catching as many fish as they can and having a great time doing it! Choose from one of the options below and feel free to message Captain R.J. for any questions you may have.

Our First Sailfish!
Early week Special on March 24, 20262 adults
Captain RJ and mate Nick run an exceptional charter. The boat is comfortable, well organized, and feels completely safe. Nick’s skill really stands out; he seamlessly adapts, switching lures, bait, and techniques with ease. Together, they make a terrific team. We enjoyed a beautiful trip, highlighted by catching our first sailfish which was safely tagged and released. We will definitely be booking with them when we return to Florida!

Positive Vibes - Positive Life
Half Day Trip (AM) on April 16, 20262 adults
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. R.J. communicated effectively, provided great resources and equipment, wealth of knowledge and information, positive vibes and not by coincidence, put us on the fish, too. Crazy part, apparently today was a “slow day”. Can’t imagine what it’s like when the kitchen gets hot. Unforgettable experience and highly recommend. Worth every penny, plus some.
