Getter Done Charters – Bamfield 

Getter Done Charters is here to help you experience the stunning waters of Bamfield. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Brannen knows where the fish are.

These waters are known for Halibut, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Lingcod, Rockfish, Crab, Shrimp, and more. For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle. Fish caught during the trip are yours to take home, so long as they’re within the legal limit. The crew can even clean your catch for you. Have a cooler ready in the car!

Capt. Brannen runs a 22’ Grady-White offshore sport fishing that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with downriggers and everything you need for a productive day on the water, plus a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Brannen will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures.

Children are welcome, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. Otherwise, you should bring your own. It’s never a bad idea to bring snacks, drinks, sunblock (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
