Deep Sea Fishing D.I. – 21'
There’s a fish with your name on it in Dauphin Island, and Deep Sea Fishing D.I. will help you catch it!
Around here, it’s common to catch Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Redfish, Black Grouper, Bull Shark, Amberjack, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead, Kingfish, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, and more, depending on when you go. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Deep Sea Fishing D.I. is a child-friendly charter service, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. Otherwise, you should bring your own. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!
Your vessel for the day is a 21’ Sea Strike (Center console) with space for 6 passengers. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time!
Don’t leave home without snacks, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be bottled water on board. If you want to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Pets are allowed sea fishing. Gratuities are customary to show appreciation for the captain’s hard work.

5 - Hour Deep Sea Fishing
Good day on the bay
We showed up at 5:30 for a 5 hour fishing trip. Capt. Wilder was already on the boat working to get us ready. Fished for a little while to get some bait fish. The seas were really choppy, no way to plan for that. The fishing was good early on, then some slack then back on. Then we hooked into a Sting Ray that gave the best fight of the day. Caught some Red Snapper, Mango Snapper, and several other species. It’s a fish taco night on the island soon. Thank you Capt. Wilder for a great day fishing.

Best experience!
Captain Wilder is the man!! We were originally booked on a Sunday but he kept an eye on the weather and recommended we move it to Friday, the 4th of July! Thank goodness we did because we limited out on red snapper in the first 30 minutes! My dad, my husband and myself had a blast! Captain Wilder is super fun guy and he keeps you on the fish!

Fantastic Deep Sea Fishing
Fantastic time deep sea fishing for my family! Captain Wilder was great! First catch a big shark then we caught red snapper, mackerel and more! He shared history about the area as we boated around. Highly recommend Captain Wilder! He is fun, laid back and helpful. Filet our fish as well.

5 - Hour Deep Sea Fishing
Fun day for the whole family.
Although conditions were not conducive to going out very far, Capt. Wilder made sure all in our group had a good time and a chance to catch fish! Very family friendly and upbeat! We had a “friendly” competition of boys against girls, and the girls came out victorious with our 29# Red. We all had the chance to reel in “the big one”, who was affectionately named Bertha. We also caught snapper as well as other fish varieties. We saw dolphins, pelicans, and plenty of other wildlife. Call Capt. Wilder for a great trip!
