Welcome to Peak Fishing Charters!
My name is Seth Nichols. I have held a commercial fishing permit since the age of 14, and have made my living on the water ever since. I operate a 28’ Contender that I trailer daily. Chartering out of a fast center console on a trailer allows us to chase the bite to wherever the fishing is best.
I specialize in targeting Bluefin tuna, both Giants and school sized fish, as well as light tackle fishing for Striped Bass. My inshore trips are a great option for families, first time fisherman, as well as for experienced fisherman looking to land trophy striped bass on light tackle. My offshore trips are more suited to experienced fisherman. Chasing Bluefin requires a long day on the water.

We had a great time with Captain Seth! He put us on the fish! One of the best trips we've been on in years. We caught plenty of fish, saw seals, and even saw a humpback whale! Seth provided a plan to catch over-slot fish and have fun at beginning of trip then move into another location where we could catch our slots for dinner. The plan was executed perfectly! He even taught us how to clean the fish and provided a delicious recipe to cook them. Would highly recommend him to anyone!

I would recommend Peak fishing charters for anyone. Growing up on the coast, Captain Seth has incredible knowledge and the experience for success. Awesome boat and top notch gear! Above all, Seth is a super nice guy, very calm and collected, even when there are 600# tuna screaming drag. We'll be back!

Striped bass fishing

Seth was such a great teacher for our son’s first fishing trip. He caught several fish and was very patient. My son loved learning all about catching bait fish to cast netting. Then using live bait to rip some lips.

We had a great time with Seth. His knowledge of the area gave us ample opportunities to catch a number of fish! He was very friendly and professional at the same time... all in all a great way to end the vacation!

Captain Seth was fantastic! There were 5 of us ranging from 12-82 years old and we all caught huge sea bass. He was very attentive and cleaned our fish for us like the expert he is! Can’t wait to go back next season!
