Heavyseas Sportfishing LLC
Ocean City has a fish with your name on it, so let Heavyseas Sportfishing help you catch it!
These waters are known for Bluefish, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Flounder, Atlantic Mackerel, Black Seabass, Spanish Mackerel, Tautog, Albacore Tuna, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. You can expect to do some spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your excursion begins aboard a 30' AquaSport sportfishing boat with a capacity for 6 passengers 4 comfortably. It has outriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself. Vessel is equipped with Starlink for offshore calls and Wi-Fi.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 20% tip is customary.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. Don't forget to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Heavyseas Sportfishing!

Caught lots of blue fish. Fun trip!

Thank you! for chartering Heavyseas. awesome group of people. Fun day of fishing. Hope to see you guys again. thank you Captain Len.

Captain Leo and first mate Dave did everything possible to make the trip great. Fishing wasn't good but from results of others, it wasn't their fault. I would book with Capt Leo again.
Me and my friends want this fishing trip for a long time and it was a terrible learning experience he barely talked to us anything about fishing when we got on the boat we went out there for around an hour or an hour or 30 minutes just driving out to see if we eventually got some when we went outside when they said they were setting up the rods the cast of the rods for us it was about five rods out there 5 to 7 rods I think it was fine but he said seven i went to sleep wake up 3s up they chnage one rod out the bait looks cheap from dollar general like fake worms and stuff when we booked for tuna and other species they never changed the bait besides one rod st the start to a fish lurer that didnt work we didnt get one fish one bite we ddint touch one rod that whole 8 hrs they didnt chnage bait didnt re cast didnt stol the boat drove for 8hrs straight non stop with bait drgagin in water we eventually fell asleep and they didnt do anything just took our money

Start of the trip guest show up 15 minutes late. charter was not paid prior to leaving the dock as the policy stated. I’d had informed the guest that water temperatures have been cold and we are not seeing yellowfin and mahi yet in the area for which they requested to fish for but did inform them that the prior days some boats caught soom bluefin tuna and that we can fish for bluefin and the limit was 3 per boat. so ran 2 hours offshore my mate had set out 7 rods in the spread for a trolling trip with spreader bars and trolling gear. bars and trolling lures which cost hundreds of dollars EACH. guests were in the bunks for most of the ride out. they did come out a few time during the trolling but most remained in bunks vaping or sleeping. we were not getting any bites and trolled a few locations. throughout the day talk to a few other boats and no other boats were getting bites trolling for bluefin and heard a couple boats had a very early morning bite to the north that the fish moved further north but even there they said it was very early bite and shut off the rest of day. Guests mostly stayed in bunks and were sleeping most of the trip. they did come out of bunks arriving to the harbor. at the dock the guest said they had to pay four ways two with cash and two with separate pay links. and didn’t want to pay charter cost and wanted a discount. which I informed them it doesn’t work that way, with the cost of fuel, bait and ice. which they were unhappy with trip. paid there four different ways and only tip the mate 5% of the charter as they were unhappy. but i can inform all my customers that there is No fishing gear aboard this vessel that is from the dollar store. we fish all the top gear that other vessels fish in the area and customers are welcome to come check out boat and gear prior to there trip. I wish the guests a better experience aboard another vessel and tight lines!
