Depending on the trip and species, you'll be using techniques like light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, Flounder gigging, jigging, and spinning. You're looking at 4 to 8-hour trips, as well as overnight trips. You'll usually go after the likes of Bluefish, Flounder, Tautog, Seabass, Tilefish, and Tuna, depending on the weather and time of year.
Your adventure begins on board a 29' Seaswirl boat that can fit a maximum of 4 anglers. The boat is fitted with a toilet and an ice box. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that's up to you is to use it as best you can.
The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip. The catch you keep will be shared with the crew following the trip. Please get in touch with the captain if you have any questions.
Children are welcome aboard so you're good to get the young ones started early. There will be a first mate on board to help you with anything you need. Tips for good service are always appreciated.

Tough fishing , The captain and the first mate were awesome. We caught some fish. But it is fishing. Sometimes you hit hard, sometimes you don’t. They went over he top, stayed out longer than our trip to catch some. We got a few, Wild highly recommended this team. Good trip.

Didn't want the BIG boat with 50 people. Booked this trip for my son's 15th birthday for his 1st ocean fishing experience. He loved being on the boat, able to talk "shop" with the captain while we fished. Will definitely look for the Reaper again when we're in OC

The captain has 2 boats, one for the bay, inlet, and nearshore, and one for the ocean going deep drop fishing. He fishes for all types of fish and is always looking to hook the next State Record. If the ocean is too choppy for the Green Reaper, you will go out on the Reel Steel in the bay. The captain looks forward to every day on the water and hooking up the fish.
