Strawhat Charters — 33'
Book your next trip with Strawhat Charters and discover what makes fishing on key west unique. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Straw Hat is prepared to put you on fish.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Yellowtail Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Black Grouper, Blackfin Tuna, Great Barracuda, Cobia, Jack Crevalle, and who knows what else!
You can expect to troll and bottom fish on these trips using light tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
Your vessel for the day is a 32' Center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Straw Hat will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

Beautiful boat, super clean, and excellent charter. Captain Jeremy accommodated our family of five and handled us very professionally. Great tunes from a nice guy, and he put us on the fish all day long.
Great trip, captain Jeremy asked what we want and fullfil the request. we stay inshore but had chance to catch big barracuda, shark and few big catches. Great time.

thank you again guys

Very Clean and spacious vessel. Very Knowledgeable Captain. I caught a Sailfish right out of the gate and a Mahi later even though it was very early for Mahi.

Thank you again guys and safe travels 🙏
Key West, Florida, United States
Capt. Jeremy runs trips out of his native Key West aboard a 26' and a 32' Intrepid. These waters are known for reef and backcountry fishing, and he will show you how to catch them, whether you're bottom fishing or chasing pelagics. With great knowledge of the area, he has a trick or two up his sleeve, and the only way to learn is to join him out on the water!
