Your trip begins aboard a 31' Contender center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Capt. Joey will supply rods and reels for you. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Had an absolute blast fishing with Calico Joe in Key West. We went out targeting shark, tuna, yellowtail, and mutton, and the entire trip exceeded expectations. Joe is not only a great guy but an incredibly knowledgeable captain who clearly knows these waters inside and out. He put us on fish consistently, kept everything organized, and made sure everyone was having a great time the entire trip. Whether you’re experienced or new to fishing, he does a great job making it fun and successful. The boat was clean, the gear was solid, and the overall experience was top tier. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. If you’re in Key West and want a charter where you’ll actually catch fish and have a great time doing it, Calico Joe is your guy. Highly recommend—will definitely be booking again next time I’m down.
