Fishing around here will often see you targeting Kingfish, Mahi, Wahoo, Silky Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Gag Grouper, Goliath Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Snowy Grouper, Golden tile, Blue line tile and more, depending on the season.

During the trip, you might be spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Live bait is $60 (optional).

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! We provide children-size life vests. It’s recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled drinks, and sunscreen (non-spray). Waters and ice are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation.

The 28’ Center console with NEW reliable twin Suzuki 200s can carry up to 6 passengers It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Alek has rods and reels for you.

The charter boat covers your fishing license and rods, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.

Passionate Boat Captain

So, first time to fish Miami, I find Alek on the website with good reviews. i was very happy the reviews did not lie. Alek is a life time passionate fisherman. like a kid you can not pull away from the game. I was fortunate to have the boat to myself and i was worn out at the end of the day catching so many fish. King Mackerel are tricky fish and can take your bate if not on your game. Captain Alek will woork with you and make sure you get it so just listen to him. The last of the day we found the Tuna and Mahi Mahi. I had a geeat time and wore out my arms on the tuna. the sharks took a few of them so be quick on pulling them up. buy the extra bait as you will need it. enjoy and thank you Alek. will be back for sure

Great captain with great knowledge. We went out in conditions that most would recommend against, but it was my dads last day in town so we were committed. Alek accepted the challenge and handled the conditions with grace and ease. We caught a couple fish, but we were in it more for sport fishing so had a great time. Im sure if we would have stayed closer in shore as recommended we would have caught more. However, we had a great time, and got exactly what we asked for. Highly recommend, and will definitely do it again.

Fishing with Alek

6 Hour Trip - 12:00 PM on November 28, 2025 • 4 adults

We had a fantastic day with Captain Alek. He clearly knows what he’s doing. He’s been fishing the waters around Miami his whole life. He got us on the fish right away. Alek was on time, professional and courteous to my family of four (including two boys ages 6 and 9). Really great with the kids. Went over safety aspects at the beginning of the trip. We felt comfortable and safe on the boat. Within the first 15 minutes of fishing, my nine-year-old had a 15 pound red grouper in the boat. Then my 6 year followed it with a keeper-size mutton snapper. The fish just kept coming. We had a chest full of keeper-sized grouper and snapper within a few hours. Seemed like every fish was a trophy. It was a great afternoon of fishing. Afterwards he cleaned the fish on the boat and dropped us dockside to a restaurant that prepared them for our evening meal. Great way to end the trip. Highly recommended. We would book with Captain Alek again. 5 stars.

Best Fishing Trip I've Been On!

Sunset & City lights 4pm to8pm on November 16, 2025 • 2 adults

I've gone ocean fishing in many places, this trip was by far the best. Captain Alek was the best captain I have had. He knows where to go, how to gauge your experience level, and how to give you the best experience. He lets you get in on all the excitement. He got us on a bunch of tuna, within 1 minute of having our baits in the water, we were catching tuna left right and center. He is not there to get you money like other experiences I have had. he is there to get you a great time. all members of our group had the best fishing experience up to date. when I come back to Miami, I'm going back out with Captain Alek. Amazing time, 10/10 must try again.

From Cast to Catch in Seconds!

4 Hour Trip on September 19, 2025 • 2 adults

We had an absolute blast with Captain Alek! He’s laid back, fun, and truly wants you to catch fish. He took us to the perfect spot where we reeled in blackfin tuna along with 10+ other tuna—nonstop action! The best part was how hands-on he was: Captain would bait the hook, I’d cast and catch, and before I even turned around, he already had another rod ready for me. Jordan even landed a massive champion blackfin tuna that had Captain just as excited as we were! From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience. Even if the fishing hadn’t been as lucky, I know Captain Alek would’ve made sure we had a great time. He did not disappoint, and we’ll definitely be booking with him again—no question about it. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best charter in Miami. We won’t be using anyone else!
