During the trip you might be spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialised in this area.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, you can’t go wrong with snacks – lucky for you, there will already be some on board.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 18’ Bass boat with space for 2 passengers or 2 adults and 1 child. It comes equipped with everything you need for a productive day on the water.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected, or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is not allowed. There will be some light snacks included on board.
