There’s a fish with your name on it in Melbourne Beach, and Southern Thunder Charters will help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Bryan knows them forwards and back.

Around here, it’s common to catch Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, Sailfish, Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, African Pompano Jack, Grouper, and more if conditions are right. During the trip, you might be trolling or bottom fishing. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!

You’ll be casting lines from a 31’ SeaVee with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Bryan will provide rods and reels for you. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself. The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time!

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. Some essentials to bring are snacks, drinks, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.

Now, come aboard with Southern Thunder Charters and get hooked!
