Baja Mia Center Console Experience "La Chona"

Fishing around here will often see you targeting Yellowtail, Yellowfin Tuna, Cubera Snapper, Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Roosterfish, Seabass, and more if conditions are right. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. The captain will clean your catch, so you can take it home or to your favorite restaurant and enjoy it.

You’ll step aboard "La Chona," a 22’ center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait will be purchased on the day of the trip for an additional cost.

You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.
