Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Yellowtail Amberjack, Amberjack, Broomtail Grouper, Yellowfin Tuna, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Cubera Snapper, and anything else that bites. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing and bowfishing.

You’ll be dropping lines from Sin or Swim, a 28’ Boston Whaler sportfishing vessel with room for 5 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Sin or Swim has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation…. There will be some light snacks available on board. There are 2 sets of snorkeling gear included
