Pro Fish Guide – 32' 

If you’re ready to start fishing in Tillamook Bay and surrounding areas, look no further than Pro Fish Guide. With Captain Ted at the helm, you’ll have a highly educational and fun trip for the whole family.

Top targets include Albacore Tuna, White Seabass, Halibut, Lingcod, Coho Salmon, Black Marlin, Chinook Salmon, Crab, Black Seabass, and more, depending on when you go. During the trip, you might be spinning, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Capt. Ted will bring you aboard a 32’ Defiance that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has downriggers and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips, and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip. Before coming aboard, you may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Kids are welcome, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. It’s always wise to bring snacks, sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
