When you're in the mood to chase magnificent fish and enjoy intense fishing action, turn to Woodys Northwest Fishing & Fun! Hit the waters of Tillamook Bay with Captain Michael Woodward, and he'll make it his mission to take you to the best bite.
Capt. Michael knows the most productive spots in the bay that will put you on big Chinook and Coho Salmon that can weigh up to 50 pounds. During the high season (April–December), you'll come face to gills with these feisty and delicious fish that will fight you for every inch of the line.
Steelhead and bottom fish are also in the cards, if you'd like a mixed bag, as well as Dungeness Crab. The captain will provide top-of-the-line fishing gear, as well as live bait and lures to entice and hook your prey.
When it comes to your ride and fishing platform, you'll come aboard a 21' aluminum fisher that can easily accommodate up to 4 people. With twin 115 HP Yamaha engines, quality GPS, and fishfinder, the vessel is well-suited for different fishing conditions. Whether it's trolling, drift fishing, jigging, or bottom fishing, you can do it easily from this boat.
Catch cleaning and filleting is included in the price, so you'll get your catch ready to be cooked. In between bites, you can admire the stunning views and diverse wildlife – sights of bald eagles and redtail hawks are regular, and you can even see killer whales in September.
As you can see, this is a well-rounded fishing expedition for all levels of anglers, kids included. All you need is a fishing license with tags, appropriate clothing, drinks, and food, Capt. Michael will take care of everything else.

As for Cheeto and Frito fishing expeditions go, and we’ve been on quite a few fishing adventures lately, we rate Mike better than 5 star in all categories of the services he provides. He is a very personable and knowledgeable chap. Hell he even put Cheto on a Spring chinook in Tillamook bay on 29 April 2024. We knew the odds of catching such a fish at this time of year would be Unicorn worthy. But we did it. Cheeto reeled in a ~18lbs 35 inches spring chinook salmon. Thanks Captain Mike we can’t wait to schedule the next fishing trip with you.
