Make some memories in Lewes and go fishing with MandaLu…previously known as Savannah Lynn. Captain Jeff Landis will be your guide, so you’ll benefit from years of local experience.

These waters are known for Tilefish, Hammerhead Shark, Blacktip Shark, Giant Seabass, Flounder, Tautog, Bluefish, Black Drum, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

You’ll be casting lines from a 36’ Stapleton saltwater fishing vessel with a capacity for 16 passengers. It has all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. MandaLu will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate, to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 20% tip is customary.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. You can’t go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
