Ready to catch some fish in Lewes De? Anglers Fishing Center is your ticket! Captain Ted will be your guide, which means you'll tap into years of professional experience.
Your vessel for the day is a 52' Rose Brother walkaround that holds up to 34 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods and reels are supplied for you, also bait and tackle. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Your captain has the necessary fishing licenses. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Jackie and captain Pete got us on some sharks right away. Everyone caught a shark and we had a couple get off. (user error. we r rookies) It was the first time fishing for a couple of the kids so having a shark be there first catch was awesome. It was an all around great time. Pete and Jackie were very knowledgeable and helpful people. Good people. Captain Ted was very helpful as well. He got back to us very quickly during the booking process and made sure we knew what to bring and where to go. We would definitely do it again. Thanks to all

Pete was wonderful with the kids, keeping them engaged and excited the entire trip, and Captain Jackie put us right on the fish. We ended up catching five sharks, which had everyone buzzing all day. As a bonus, we spotted several dolphins on the ride back in. The whole crew made the trip fun, safe, and easy for a mixed group of adults and kids. Everyone had a great time, and we’d highly recommend the Pirate King II to anyone looking for a memorable family-friendly fishing trip.

We had such a great experience on our first-ever fishing trip! The 3-hour trip was the perfect length for our kids—long enough to have a great time without getting too tired. Captain Jackie and first mate Pete were absolutely wonderful with the kids. They were patient, encouraging, and made the whole experience so much fun for everyone. We each caught around 10 fish! They were on the smaller side, so we released them all, but it was still so exciting for the kids to keep catching fish. We couldn’t have asked for a better first fishing experience. Highly recommend Captain Jackie and Pete, especially for families with kids! 🎣

We had an amazing experience on our fishing trip! The crew was absolutely fantastic, especially with our kids. They were patient, encouraging, and made sure everyone was having fun while teaching them along the way. We caught a ton of fish, which made the trip even more exciting, and we were even able to keep some to make fresh fish tacos afterward. It was the perfect day on the water! If you’re looking for a fun, family-friendly fishing charter with a knowledgeable and hardworking crew, I can’t recommend them enough. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town!
