Join Freak Fishin in Taber, Southern Alberta, and go on a freshwater fishing trip on the local rivers! Explore Old Man River, South Saskatchewan River, and Bow River. Captain Scott Jensen has been fishing for most of his life and will do his best to make your fishing trip a memorable one.
Their 22' Outlaw aluminum fishing boat is powered by a single 360 HP Mercury engine and equipped with all the necessary safety gear and navigation electronics to ensure a productive trip. It can accommodate up to 4 anglers and features a full windshield, an overhead canopy, and a built-in heater to keep you warm and dry throughout your fishing trip.
Capt. Scott will provide you with all the necessary tackle and lures you will need throughout your trip, as well as live bait and artificial lures. He specializes in bottom fishing for Sturgeon and jigging for Walleye. He offers both half day and full day trips and caters to anglers of all skill levels.
Snacks and drinks will also be provided, as well as lunch on longer trips. Transportation between Taber and the fishing grounds is also included. All you have to bring is comfortable clothing and a valid Alberta fishing license.

Had a wonderful fishing experience with Scott Jensen; particularly pleased with his attention to my two g/sons ages 10 & 6. Scott explained all the intricacies of pickerel fishing to the boys and they decidedly enjoyed the day. Thank you for a great experience!

Great experience catching Sturgeon. It was a cold snowy day so my only suggestion is that hot drinks could have been provided instead of cold drinks.
