Spend the day with Secret Waters and let him show you what makes the fishing in Homer so memorable! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Kurtis knows them forwards and back.
These waters are known for Chinook Salmon, Crab, Cod, Rockfish, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before 'Fish on!'
Children are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask and the captain will provide the proper size.
Snacks, drinks and lunch are never a bad idea to bring along for a boost of energy when needed!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 22' Hewescraft sportfishing vessel with space for 4 passengers. It has downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures and bait.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
