My wife and I wanted to go out on a charter to try to catch some halibut and maybe see some whales. We ended up catching our limit of halibut, plus a ling cod, and also saw one whale quickly surface! Captain Kurtis was a great host too! He went above and beyond to get us on fish and we had tons of action. He was really trying to get us a "barn door" for our overs and I felt like he was willing to stay out longer than the 8 hour trip to get them. Luckily we caught 2 nice ones right before the 8 hour mark so he didn't have to do that. Great trip, highly recomend it, and would definitely do it again! Thanks Kurtis!!!

Captain Kurtis took us out to his secret spot where he dropped anchor, set up a pole, and in less than 5 minutes, we had a halibut keeper. All 4 of us caught our limit before noon, with the biggest one being 53 inches. The sun was out, the mountains were magnificent, and it was the perfect day!

We had an incredible time fishing with Captain Kurtis! We booked a fall charter targeting crab and halibut, and he delivered exactly what we were after. Kurtis kept us updated on the weather and fishing conditions leading up to the trip, and once we were on the water, his knowledge and professionalism made the whole experience top-notch. I highly recommend booking with Captain Kurtis — we’ll absolutely be back!
