You’ll target your catch by spinning, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Capt. Pete will bring you aboard a 22’ Avid bass boat with a capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
