Go Fishing Guide Service

5.0/5 (6 reviews)
Branson Hills Parkway, Branson, MO 65616, United States

There’s a fish with your name on it in Branson and Go Fishing Guide Service will help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Joe can tell you all about the local fishery.

Largemouth Bass, White Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Paddlefish, and more can be found in these waters, depending on conditions. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there’s bowfishing.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You’re welcome to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!

Your excursion begins aboard a 20’ Skeeter bass boat with room for 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and a hat. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.

Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Go Fishing Guide Service!

3 Hour Trip (10AM) on March 20, 2025

We had a blast with Captain Joe! We took 4 13 yr old boys out for the 3 hour trip and within 5 minutes they were catching fish! Captain Joe did an excellent job of making sure everyone was catching big ones and then even helped teach them some techniques to hook massive spoonbills. Captain Joe was very friendly and we can’t wait to go on another trip with him!!

Summer fun!!!!

6 Hour Trip on June 24, 2024

Took my son on a fishing trip with Captain Joe. It was a great time. We caught fish from start to finish. My son was bragging about his “bass thumb” from catching so many fish. I highly recommend Joe, he is great with kids and makes it fun for everyone.

Spoonbilling

4 Hour Trip (6AM) on March 17, 2024

There was 3 of us that went with Captin Joe Weter to go on a spoonbilling trip for our first time ever spoonbilling. It was the most professional and fun experience I've ever had fishing. He's very informative and professional has the best set up with electronics and gear. Highly recommend him!
