Did this trip to make some memories with my son and my dad. we did exactly that!! Jeff was an awesome guide! He made sure that my son stayed 100% interested. We were all pulling up fish left and right! Even later that night at dinner my son said “that was really fun today. I miss Jeff. He is a really nice guy!! Next time we will more than likely do a full day with him. We all would have loved to have had more time! Do yourself a favor and go with Jeff!
Captin Jeffery was awesome! He gave us great information about the area while putting us on fish the whole trip! He gave us great tips on catching fish, and we are even taking these tips back home to try on the rivers and lakes of Missouri. When we come back to Charleston we will be booking with Captian Jeffery again. When you book be prepared for a great time with Drumroll Fishing between fishing and information about Charleston.

Life on the water started at a young age. My parents spent a lot of their time together outdoors like camping on the local islands, pulling nets thru the water, and shrimping late into the night. Naturally, I was to follow so it began as I watched and became involved early in life. Growing up next to the water gave me a place to learn how to enjoy what is around me no matter how simple. Fishing came easy with learning a few knots, how to catch bait, and how fish live day to day. Dad taught me how he fished with knowledge others taught him then it was on me to read and watch other fishermen in order to grow even more. Knowing saltwater ran through my veins I saw myself wanting to help others fish and understand more about fishing. Fishing can be as simple as tossing a hook in the water and waiting but I knew if you did a little more the catching would be more productive. At first, I started showing the people around me what I knew about the water and fishing. Then slowly expanding into helping new people I met along the way. I figured it was time to get my captain's license so I would be able to help others experience the joys of life on the water. Before long I started working in the largest local tackle shop in our area helping people get fishing with knowledge and the correct supplies to have a great catch. Later recognizing I was indoors more than out on the water so I began my journey once more working as a full-time charter fishing guide. Now it's 2025 and I'm ready to get you on the water with me to share some smiles and good times.
