If you’re going to cast a line around Folly Beach, look no further than Drumroll Fishing Charters Folly. Your guide for the day is Captain Jeffery Pierce, which means you’ll tap into a lifetime of local fishing experience. Come fish with the guy who has lived here his entire life.
Fishing around Folly Beach you have the opportunity to catch Red Drum, Black Drum, Flounder, Sheepshead, Speckled Sea Trout, Sharks, and a whole lot more. Crabbing or Shrimping opportunities are possible too. Some folks may also want to cruise through the rivers and see the dolphin around Morris Island Lighthouse; go see the sights of Charleston Harbor; or explore the beaches and sandbars accessible by boat to find sea shells, fossils, and sharks’ teeth which we can do that also.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? All ages are absolutely welcome from 1 to 100+. Family time on the boat can be some of the best memories made. Don’t worry if it’s your first time fishing or if you’re a well-experienced long-time fisherman, Captain Jeffery has you covered.
You’ll be casting lines from "Drumroll", a 22’ center console fishing vessel with a capacity for 5 passengers plus the captain. While targeting fish around Folly you will be provided with spinning gear of adequate size to catch the fish along with live bait, cut bait, and artificial lures.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can come right on over and jump aboard without any hassle! When choosing to keep fish or just have a fun day catching and releasing, please note that most of these fish have size limits for keeping and quantity limits as well. Your captain will help you follow regulations and recommend the tastiest to keep if chosen.
When jumping onboard it’s best to carry a hat, sunglasses, sunblock lotion (non-aerosol), and a few snacks. The boat’s cooler has fresh ice with bottled water for you but your welcome to bring ANY preferred beverages.

3 Hour "Shark" Trip (Earlier AM)
Such a thrilling experience!!
Where should I begin? First Captain Jeffery is very easy going. We went shark fishing during the peak hours for the best experience we could get which is in the am, we started with two test polls out in the ocean and it was not long for our polls to be hit. We managed to catch approximately 10 sharks all together between the two of us. We also managed to have one nice sized string ray on two poles at the same exact time, which was a lovely fight for us which was a thrill!! If I could give Captain Jeffery 10 stars I would!! Will most definitely book with him again when we come back to visit Folly beach. 🌴😎

Inshore slam with Captain Jeffery!
Booked a 4hr inshore fishing trip with captain Jeffery. He arrived on time and we started fishing almost immediately. We ended up catching six different species of fish, three of which were quite large! He took us two multiple spots and did not waste any time if fish were not biting in a location. We fished right up until 11:30 and then headed back to the boat ramp. Jeffery was very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to fish with. Hopefully we will fish with him again soon!

Fishing guide was so great and fun to be around. Knew the area. Put us on fish immediately. Always working hard to get as many rods out as possible. Top-Notch Fishing Adventure!
We had an incredible time on our 4-hour fishing trip with Jeffery! Two dads and our teenage sons-everyone had a blast from start to finish. Jeffery was knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole experience fun and relaxed. We caught plenty of fish, shared lots of laughs, and made some great memories. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch fishing adventure. Thanks for an unforgettable day on the water Jeffery!

4 Hour "Captain's Perferred" Trip
May 17th Morning Fishing
This fishing trip was a birthday gift to my husband, and it was a huge hit! Not only was it a perfect day to fish, but Captain Jeffrey was outstanding. He's a very knowledgeable, chill guy, and it was a pleasure to be on his boat. It was my first time chartering a boat for the 2 of us in Charleston, and the Captain did not disappoint.
