Trail End Camp & Outfitters - 28'
Located on the Winnipeg River system, Trail End Camp & Outfitters offers charter boat service in Manitoba. They fish for Walleye, Northern Pike, Sturgeon, Smallmouth Bass, and many other species that the area has to offer.
Your guide - Vance Hrechkosy - can customize the trip to meet your specific needs. He begins the season in mid-May, which then goes through October. Fishing techniques depend on the targeted species and your ambitions: you will be able to jig for Walleye using minnows and cast for Smallmouth Bass. Trolling with spoons and diving plugs is also an option, along with fly fishing if you bring your own gear with you.
The travel time from the dock to fish will last for about half an hour, depending on your personal preferences. If you want to target a specific species or travel out to the ‘middle of nowhere’ in the lake, Vance will gladly cater to your wishes.
Your boat for the day will be a 28’ custom-made aluminum fishing vessel with a single 300 HP Yamaha engine and top-notch electronics. It can accommodate up to 6 anglers plus the guide to fish in comfort and style. The boat is fully rigged with everything you need for a productive day out on the water.
Around halfway through the trip, you will be able to pull up on the closest part of the shore, grab a big frying pan, and cook your catch. Relax, sit back, and have fun before heading off to fish again!
