These waters are known for Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Black Marlin, Sailfish, Roosterfish, Sierra Mackerel, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Your vessel for the day is a 31' Blackfin offshore sport fishing that holds up to 6 passengers. It has a fighting chair and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. You can't go wrong when you bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
