If you're in the market for a day to remember, look no further than Hunter Fishing. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Mike can tell you all about the local fishery.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Striped Bass, Flounder, Black Seabass, Porgy, Bluefish, Albacore Tuna, and whatever else takes the bait. On the day of your trip, you're likely to bottom fish. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep.
You'll step aboard a 58' Rose Brothers with space for 25 passengers. It has outriggers and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary. You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Families who love fishing together will be glad that kids are welcome aboard! A few items to bring include snacks, drinks, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
Hunter fishing offers private charters for groups of up to 25 persons, and shared trips for smaller groups who want to share their experience with others. Anything you want can be arranged, so get in touch and come aboard!
Now's the time to experience fishing in New York City for yourself with Hunter Fishing!
