We specialize in inshore and offshore fishing and offer a variety of different types of trips for you to choose from. We also even do customized trips if requested.
Captain Parker is very experienced in saltwater fishing. Palm State goes the extra mile to insure you and your family have a great time!

Inshore Trips- We will be fishing for redfish, speckled trout, blackdrum, sheepshead, flounder and even the occasional tarpon!
Offshore- We start the mornings trolling for kingfish, mahi, and wahoo. Later in the day we bottom fish for a large variety snapper and grouper.
What will you need to bring? Waters will be on the boat at all times with no extra fee. Alcohol is allowed on the boat but must be brought by the customers. Snacks are always a good thing to bring with you on the boat and will also need to be purchased by the customers. Sunscreen is not provided but recommended.
USCG life jackets are required by captain to have on the vessel. Kids 12 and under are required by USCG to wear life jackets at all times. Customers can bring their own life jackets for their children if wanted.

We booked a 4 hour inshore and targeted reds. All 4 of us had a blast! Everyone caught something and there was even a 13lb 33inch red landed! Would highly recommend! Very knowledgeable and a better cast than all of us! Extremely professional and personable also. Overall, an amazing trip and we are already planning both an inshore and ocean trip next year! Thank you Capt Parker and Palm State Fishing for an absolutely amazing experience!
My husband and I went out with Parker this morning - I have literally not picked up a rod and reel in 35+ years! My husband fishes, so he wasn’t an issue, but Parker was so patient with me and taught me how to fish! And he found the fish, too! We had four redfish in the line within the first 20 minutes! Super cool and laidback guy - we would 100% recommend him and will look him up again when we are back at Edisto Beach!
Half day afternoon trip nearshore. Got bait quickly then right to fishing. Captian kept us baited and tied up rigs while keeping us on the fish. Plan to go again.
My family has a great time fishing with Captain Parker!! We caught a lot of fish and picked up some great knowledge about the local waters of Edisto. It's a special place and this experience really will be something we'll remember for a long time. Highly recommended!!
Parker was the man! We did a 4 hour inshore trip, we caught several different styles of fish, he was great with our 12 year old and he kept us out there an extra 30 minutes to try and hall in a big red fish, it didnt work but we really appreciated his efforts! We will be back!!

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Pickup agreed upon reservation
Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 50% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
