Flounder, Black Seabass, Bluefish, Weakfish, Spanish mackerel, Bonito, andmore could be biting, on the season. You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. John also offers Flounder jigging.
You'll step aboard a 26 Grady WhiteCuddy cabin that holds up to 5 passengers. It comes with outriggers and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's never a bad idea to bring snacks, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain John was great. We were able to book a trip within 2 days on a vacation last minute idea. My son caught his first flounder within 30 minutes, and everyone caught fish. Captain John was friendly, easy to talk to, very attentive and professional. His boat is super clean, spacious and well powered. We will definitely be fishing with him again. Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We caught 9 flounder… it was the first time the kids had fished off a boat in the bay… 10yr old and 2 11yr olds. Captain John was fabulous and the day was beautiful. The kids are already talking about going again next year! Much appreciation to Captain John for the hospitality, patience and knowledge!

Captain John works hard to put you on fish. Equipment was fantastic (plenty of trolling and bottom fishing setups) and Grady White is ideal for fishing. Great conversation and recommendations on fishing locations, baits, technique, etc, and filleted blue fish for us before we departed. 10/10 would fish again - thanks John.

We had a great time doing a 4 hour nearshore trip with Captain John. He was very welcoming and knowledgable, and explained all parts of the process throughout the entire trip. I learned more than I had on previous fishing experiences. We ended up catching four Bonito and a Spanish Mackerel, and he took the time to filet the fish for us at the end. Definitely would recommend and would book a trip with again.
