Flounder, Black Seabass, Bluefish, Weakfish, Spanish mackerel, Bonito, andmore could be biting, on the season. You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. John also offers Flounder jigging.

You'll step aboard a 26 Grady WhiteCuddy cabin that holds up to 5 passengers. It comes with outriggers and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

It's never a bad idea to bring snacks, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

3 Hour Trip – Inshore Fish on July 14, 2025 • 4 adults • 1 child

Five of us went out with Captain John, including one six-year-old. We all had very little or no knowledge or experience. John carefully explained the timetable and his plan to get us to the best spots. He got us set up with our rods, baited them, and gave us beginners tips on how to use them. He took us to about ten different spots because the fish were uncooperative, and he wanted everyone to catch something. He was always polite and engaging, taking at length to my sons about cars and answering the dozens of questions from my grandson. We were booked for three hours, but he allowed us to stay out for four. It was a wonderful morning of family fun.

Fun fishing trip

4 Hour Trip – Nearshore (AM) on August 17, 2025 • 2 adults • 1 child

We had a great time doing a 4 hour nearshore trip with Captain John. He was very welcoming and knowledgable, and explained all parts of the process throughout the entire trip. I learned more than I had on previous fishing experiences. We ended up catching four Bonito and a Spanish Mackerel, and he took the time to filet the fish for us at the end. Definitely would recommend and would book a trip with again.

Awesome Morning

4 Hour Trip – Inshore Fishing on July 22, 2025 • 5 adults

Great communication throughout. Captain John paid close attention to the weather, tides and previous days results. He guided us to the reef where we had several catches. His first mate was great, ensured we had bait and excellent “presentation” for the fish. Captain John is simply awesome to talk with and always had a back up plan. Changed up our bait a few times and within minutes we had bites. I’m looking forward to our next trip in 2026.

Great captain and spacious boat

I had my 4 sons with me. We had plenty of room. Captain worked hard to put us on the bite. This is a good choice vs the smaller center consoles. Hes very experienced and friendly. We will fish with capt Bach again!
