These waters are known for Wahoo, Kingfish, Black Seabass, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, and more. During the trip, you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!
You’ll be fishing aboard a 28’ Center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Trips with Loose Cannon Fishing Charters are open to the whole family, so bring the kids! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. It’s always wise to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed, but you should avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
