Live Action Fishing welcomes you to the stunning waters of St. Augustine.

Depending on conditions, you might hook into Black Drum, Bluefish, Jack Crevalle, Flounder, Redfish, Blacktip Shark, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Speckled Trout, Tarpon, and whatever else is biting.

On these trips, it’s common to bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Nicholas also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

You’ll step aboard a 21’ Bay boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials.

Capt. Nicholas will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
