Trips with Blackjack Sport Fishing are kid-friendly, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks – luckily, Capt. Steve will have some on board!

Your trip begins aboard a Luhrs 31’ Offshore Express Sportfisher with space for 4 passengers. It comes with 2 big bait tanks and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a nice toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait and dead bait are included.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses and sunblock (non-spray). There will be bottled water and light snacks on board, and you may bring your own drinks and food. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid glass bottles.
