Spend the day with Rolo’s Panga Adventures and get hooked on fishing the beautiful clear gulf waters just off the coast of South Padre Island try some bay fishing if the weather does not allow for nearshore fishing! VERY IMPORTANT: My fishing trip capacity for both inshore and bay trips is 3 persons. You may request for a 4th guest and it will be subject to a captain review.
Nearshore trips are mainly red snapper trips using dead bait and at times, shrimp, croaker, or perch if necessary. It is my objective to make sure that you catch your limit of red snappers which is 4 per guest in Texas inshore waters. On occasion additional fish species caught during my nearshore trips may be strawberry groupers, mangrove snappers, cobia, red fish, sand trout, and mahi mahi. Please ask the captain for the availability of these species so that you may get a fishing report on them.
Inshore trips are mainly for speckled trout and redfish while other fish like sheepshead, black drum, flounder and mangrove snappers may also become a target depending on the time of the year and availability.
You will be fishing on a 22' Imemsa panga. It is the smallest nearshore snapper fishing boat fishing out of South Padre Island! Folks usually enjoy the boat ride as much as the fishing, especially the kids. Real important to discuss the details of your fishing group to see if a 4th person can go.
It is very important for you to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunblock and sunwear for protection from the sun. Bring bottled water or your favorite hydrating drinks, especially in the summer. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid overdoing it.

Just got back from a half-day offshore trip with Captain Rolo and I can't recommend him enough! From the moment we left the dock, Captain Rolo knew exactly where to find the fish. We were hooked up with Red Snapper within the first hour. He was incredibly knowledgeable, helping us manage lines and getting the fish in the boat quickly. The boat was clean, fast, and equipped with top-notch gear. We caught our limit and had a blast. If you’re looking for a professional, hard-working captain , this is it! We will definitely be booking again next season.

Excellent guide and really knows the area, wife and daughter got sea sick and captain was nice enough to take them back to the docks and took me back out to fish and catch our limit.
it was an amazing trip took my 10 year old daughter, and he made sure to cater to her. also, put us on some big ass snappers!!!
Captain Rolo knows how to take care of the client and put you in the fish.
It's always good to go fishing with an awesome fisherman and person. My water pump went down as we were heading home and James could not have made me felt that that was just part of a normal day on the water. Thanks for a good time and looking forward to fishing with you again.
