Hoping to catch some fish in New York City? Look no further than J Rod3 Charters!

Bluefish, Common Ling, Striped Bass, Cod, Flounder, Black Seabass, Porgy, Weakfish, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!

You’ll find yourself aboard a 31’ Downeast that holds up to 6 passengers. It has everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

Capt. Jared welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. A few items to bring include snacks, drinks, a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

Your trip with J Rod3 Charters is just a click away, so why not make it happen?
