Upon arriving at our meeting spot Corey and his first mate Trad had everything setup.  We didn’t wait long at all before hooking up on a double.  These guys know where and how to catch fish. Both Corey and Trad was just as excited to catch fish as me and my kids.  They was very helpful and let the kids reel in anything that was on the line. They made sure to show us the proper way to hold the fish, and was very knowledgeable about everything related to their profession. Everyone that has a job knows no matter how much you like what you do that it’s eventually just a job, I got that vibe from other charter captains prior to speaking with Corey.  I did not get that vibe from Corey I immediately knew after speaking to him he was the one to go with.  I’m convinced Corey and Trads love for the sport will drive them to being the number one fishing charter in the Charleston area.  Fishing with these guys was like fishing with friends that actually know what they’re doing and want to see you catch fish as much as you want to if not more.

I would highly recommend anyone with kids, or without kids to reach out to Corey and let him put you on some fish.  He’s a top notch guy that absolutely loves what he does.  You will not be disappointed.  I can’t say how impressed I was enough. The experience that we had made the trip and it’s one my kids and myself will never forget. Thank you Corey!

Great trip. I’ve been on about 10 charters from private charters to public charters to crabbing. This was by far my favorite. Guys were knowledgable and hardworking the whole time. We caught multiple reds and sharks. They put us on an 8ft lemon shark that my wife reeled in. Best part is you don’t have to worry about getting sick on a boat. Wife and oldest get seasick easily but this way we were able to enjoy the trip as a family and hang out on the beach at night. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

Cory took the baits out using his kayak to get us into the fish zone, through the rough waves, and onto the fish.

Great trip to take for multiple people to fish right from the beach.

My 10 year old daughter and here cousins caught her their biggest fish ever, nice Redfish / Red Drum, w multiple’s today.

We couldn’t have asked for a better time and better captain! We had two young children who he was awesome with! Went above and beyond to make sure they had a great first time experience shark fishing for their very first time! They caught 4 sharks and one big sting ray! Was such a fun experience for all 3 generations of ages involved! The beach play for the kids was a neat option in between catches for short attention spans. We will be definitely be calling Cory again!

If you are looking for a fishing experience completely different from all the other trips you have been on, you should give Cory a call. When we first arrived at the fishing spot, Cory had everything set up. He had multiple lines strategically placed at different points in the ocean in order to give us the best chance to catch something. After about 30 minutes, my daughter caught a 2’ shark and she was thrilled. After catching another small shark and a couple of massive sting rays, the fish stopped bitting. Cory kept an eye on the rods and even moved the lines to different spots with his kayak. Just when we thought it would be time to leave, one of the lines caught a 7’9” lemon shark! After a 30 minute struggle, I was able to bring it ashore. I would recommend Cory to anyone looking for an adventure that is not like anything else.
