Book your next trip with Eva Grace Sportfishing and find out what makes the fishing in Atlantic Highlands so unique. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Todd can tell you all about the local fishery.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Flounder, Scup (Porgy), Thresher
Shark, and anything else that bites. You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Todd can also take you Flounder gigging.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your adventure begins aboard a 30’ Jupiter center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. A few items to bring include bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now, come aboard with Eva Grace Sportfishing and get hooked!
