Escamas Fishing
There's a fish with your name on it in San Andrés, and Escamas Fishing will help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Erwin Howard can tell you all about the local fishery.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Jack Crevalle, Snook, Great Barracuda, Bonefish, Mahi Mahi, Rainbow Runner, Pink Snapper, Bigeye Trevally, Bluefin Trevally, and whatever else is biting. You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, jigging, and bottom fishing. Capt. Erwin also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You'll be casting lines from a 26' Saltwater fishing with a capacity for 8 passengers. It has and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Erwin will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
You could keep reading this, but wouldn't you rather be fishing with Escamas?

We had some rough waters and mixed rain conditions but the captain was an excellent driver. We somehow managed to land a barracuda despite the conditions. We were also able to get transportation to the docks arranged via the captain. Water provided but bring your own snacks and fun drinks. Thanks again Erwin! Love your taste in music.
got a tuna, a few bites, and had a great time. the captain was very accomodating and knowledgeable. i would do it again

I have been fishing all of my life, primarily in the United States, but this experience blew every other away. The captain was extremely accommodating, speaking both English and Spanish, even helped us get a cab to arrive and cooked the fish we caught! I might add he is a very good chef haha. But overall, I highly recommend this experience. My girlfriend and I created many memories that will last forever and it would not have happened without our captain. 10/10 is too low of a rating for him, we will go fishing with this charter again.

Thank you very much for your words. We are very happy that you enjoyed the experience. We work every day to improve our service and people like you motivate us more and more. Thank you very much.

Captain Erwin was great! We caught what we were after and he was very accommodating to all our needs Boat and fishing gear was excellent. Another BONUS was the Captain IS a great CHEF.....our Boat Lunch went above and beyond...talk about FRESH lunch. Talking with the Captain I learned not only is he a good fisherman and chef, but an all around great human being. I hope our paths cross again.

Thank you very much for your words. We work every day to provide the best service. We are very happy that you had a great day fishing and that you enjoyed our food. We look forward to seeing you on future fishing trips. A hug, my friend.

Captain Erwin was such a fun guy to talk to, speaks great english and spanish. he has many fun stories to tell and he will catch you a fish. we had a slowish day and still managed to catch 8+ tuna. He is a phenomenal chef, I was very impressed and it was one of the best meals i had on the island

Thank you very much for your words. We work every day to improve our service and we are very happy that you enjoyed the fishing and food, which is our specialty.
