While I could have spent all day on the water, 3 hours was the perfect amount of time for my wife that will go fishing just to humor me (and yes: she caught more than me). Captain Wesley made the best of that time. He took us straight to where the fish were and we managed to get several in the boat. Highlight of the trip was snagging a 32-inch red drum! If Captain Wesley is available for your time and date, look no further: book him now!
My three brothers and I went out on a 5 hour morning trip out of Port Aransas. The boat was good, equipment was good. Captain Wesley was great, constantly making sure we had hooks baited and lines in the water. Unfortunately we didnt catch a thing for the first four and a half hours. We moved around to different spots trying to find fish with no luck. Finally, at our last stop we started catching some smaller fish and Captain Wesley graciously let us stay out about a bit longer to keep catching them. The experience was great, I would definitely go out with Captain Wesley again. Hopefully the fish are biting next time!
took my 3 boys fishing , each of them caught a red fish keeper. as well as other fish we couldnt keep! ( catfish, undersized fish). it had rained the day prior so wasnt sure how lucky we would get. but the captain knew more than a few spots to get us on fish. each spot we hit , we caught a keeper. everyting was provided , we just an icechest for extra drinks , and a bag for sunblock and snacks !
Went to a couple different spots, caught redfish early on then plenty of cats and even a dog! Good live bait and knowledge of the best spots. Weather was fun with the Saharan dust and a fishing competition going on but we still got our fish and enjoyed hanging out with Wesley!

we took the evening fishing trip from 5pm-8pm. first time to fish in the evening. it’s kinda a slow day. we got a few bites. the younger angler had caught a first keeper - a black drum. later I caught a slightly over 20” redfish. one thing I appreciate that the captain used live shrimp as lure. he was good putting baits on the hooks and made sure there are five rods in the water all the time even we only have four anglers. he also moved the biat around to seek more activities.
