You'll be dropping lines from a 20' Starcraft aluminum fishing boat with space for 4 passengers. It has downriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Ryan will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Captain Ryan grew up on the Great Lakes fishing for all species of game fish, from walleye and pike, to perch and panfish, to salmon and trout, captain Ryan does his research and his homework before every single trip to put you on the fish! His knowledge of the great lakes paired with his many bait choices and new boat with all the new electronics and technology will surely help to locate the fish and put them in the live well!! He has a very nice enclosure for those wind or chilly days! I have personally been fishing with captain Ryan for over 10 years now and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to get out and catch any species of fish! You are sure to have a great experience and learn along the way!! Don’t hesitate to book your trip you will definitely be satisfied!!
We were over on the bay trying to learn the new body of water on our own, learning how to catch walleye was much easier going with someone with as much knowledge as Ryan. I got in contact with him less than 12 hours before we were fishing with him. He answered all of our questions and let us run all of the rods so we could learn and understand what and why he does what he does. 10/10 recommend him for a trip! You will not be disappointed 🤟🤟
Fished with Capt. Ryan over Memorial weekend and had an absolute blast. He set us up on right on the fish and it was nonstop action. I’ve fished with Capt. Ryan numerous times and he’s first class all the way. Wether it’s walleyes on Saginaw Bay or salmon on Lake Michigan he puts fish in the boat. I would highly recommend booking a trip with Capt. Ryan.
