There’s a fish with your name on it in Sebastian and JMC Charters will help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain James can tell you all about the local fishery.
Species like Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Jack Crevalle, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Sailfish, Bull Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Spanish Mackerel, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, and more inhabit these waters if you cast your line at the right time of year. You’ll target your catch by fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Trips with JMC Charters are fun for all ages, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
You’ll be fishing aboard a 32’ Topaz offshore sport fishing boat ( this boat isnt a center console its a big roomy sportfish with a bathroom! )with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. James will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. Don’t forget to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with JMC Charters!
