Species like Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Jack Crevalle, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Sailfish, Bull Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Spanish Mackerel, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, and more inhabit these waters if you cast your line at the right time of year. You'll target your catch by fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Trips with JMC Charters are fun for all ages, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!
You'll be fishing aboard a 30 maycraft sport fishing boat with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, Capt. James will provide rods and reels for you,
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. Don't forget to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Jim and his mate/daughter Jessica were delightful company. And although we only caught a single lady fish just cruising around on the Indian river was the most relaxing two hours I’ve spent in a very long time. We saw turtle and dolphin and birds of a number of descriptions. I’m hoping to book again when the weather permits us to exit inlet and do some serious fishing in the ocean.

Fantastic day on the water! We left bang on time and headed straight out. While the drift baiting started a bit slow, the crew didn't skip a beat. We switched over to the troll and bagged a good few king mackerel! Huge thanks to Jim and crew for their top-notch support and making it an awesome offshore trip. Highly recommended!

The crew was awesome very intuitive and engaging they made all of us feel welcome to the boat and treated all of us like part of the crew with all the options in the area I personally feel this is the best option when it comes to picking a charter and captain they were great at every point in the trip.

We had a great day out fishing. The weather wasnt great but the captian did a greta job with diffrent options when fishing. We caught a few fish and it was great being out on the boat. Thank you to the captiian and crew. We had a great day and would book with him again.
