If you're here to make the most of fishing the New Meadows watershed, look no further than F/V BadCast. Your guide for the day is Captain Drew, who will give you access to 20 years of knowledge and experience fishing in the area.
Capt. Drew offers fly fishing and will provide the gear, or you can bring your own. You'll target your catch by light tackle fishing, popping, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area if you choose. BadCast is also licensed for Shark and Tuna. This requires a little preparation if desired.
Your fishing machine for the day is a 21' Grady-White with space for 4 passengers. Two anglers are recommended as flyfishing is the preferred method – One on the bow and one in the back. We run drifts, ledges, and flats. Sling it!
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle available for you, along with lures/flies.
Some essentials to bring are sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen with F/V BadCast! Keep Casting!
