Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Mahi Mahi, Shortbill Spearfish, Skipjack Tuna, Wahoo, and whatever else takes the bait. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

Your boat for the day is Maheli Heli, a 36' sportfisher with space for 10 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
