These waters are known for Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass, and more – with any luck, they’ll make your reel scream. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. The captain has a strict catch-and-release policy, so any fish you catch will go back into the water.
Your excursion begins aboard a 21’ Bass boat with space for 2 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
It’s always wise to bring snacks, a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks and light snacks will be available for you. Alcohol is not allowed.

Mid day trip
A beautiful day on the lake with a fun and competent Bass Guide
While fishing conditions were less than ideal for this time of year, Capt. Don pulled out all the stops to ensure my comfort, safety and overall enjoyment during this outing. Inspite of being one of the hardest times of the year for lake bass fishing, I caught three bass while Capt. Don caught one. Between us, a few strikes were missed. Tackle provided was the very best I have ever used. It was so lightweight, I felt NO residual fatigue after leaving the water. The Phoenix competition style bass boat was first class with an incredibly smooth ride. Overall, I enjoyed my day on the water with Don. It was a priviledge to be on the water with Don and I plan to schedule a trip with him in the Spring of 2026 with him. Thanks, Allen

Captain Donald was awesome!
It had been some time since I'd done any fishing and I let Donald know that. He took the time to teach me most of the current techniques and what would work for me limited skill level - just the right amount of new knowledge so as not to overwhelm me which is appreciated. We both caught fish and even met a duck hunter (story for another time). Will definitely be taking advantage of AlwaysOnEm and Captain Donald in the future if our schedules line up. Thanks again!
