Here at Cody Spetz Fishing Adventures, we offer trips for the newest of beginners to hardcore tournament anglers! I myself am a die hard tournament bass angler. I compete on the Major League Fishing circuits and have accumulated a pretty good resume over the years. My wife and i moved to the Branson area a few years ago because of its diverse fisheries. Spending time on the water and staying on top of the fish is something i take seriously to ensure that my clients are in the best position to have a great day on the water. I target all species here in the ozarks from trout, bass, crappie, walleye, and even catfish. With all that being said, there is 1 RULE in my boat, and that is to HAVE FUN!!!

Lake Taneycomo 4 hour Trout Fishing
I wanted my 10 year old son to have a memorable first fishing trip. I read reviews for months and Cody’s reviews said he was great with kids. Bonus that he had an 8am trip available in August so we didn’t have to get up super early. My son absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. He was appreciative that Cody took the time in teaching him how to cast and feel for biting fish. By the end of 4 hours, I could hear the whip of the line when he was casting. Cody was patient and a great teacher. He took the fish off the hook and baited faster than any of us could. It gave us every opportunity to reel in an abundant amount of fish. We caught about 20-25 Rainbow Trout in 4 hours. We highly recommend Cody! We will book with him again in the future.

A great day of fishing with Cody Spetz! Great Captain! Great guy! Caught lots of fish on a half day trip! 25-30 Spotted bass and Smallmouth! Would recommend Cody to anyone wanting to fish Table Rock or surrounding areas. Be careful!!! You might make a friend in the process! lol! We did. Thanks for the memories Cody Spetz!

A good way to end 2024!
Cody, is outstanding guide who is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about fishing. He also fishes professionally for Bass when he is not putting clients on the fish. After introductions, Cody made us feel like old friends while consistently putting us where the fish were. We had wanted to fish Table Rock Lake for some Bass and potential Walleye but the weather was cold with 18-20 mile an hour winds so we pivoted to Taneycomo and had an awesome time catching trout. We even got to see a bald eagle snatch a fish right next to us. Despite the cold and Inclement weather Cody made our trip work ,enjoyable and fish were caught.

Great trip on Table Rock
My wife and I had a great day out on the lake with Cody. Cody’s boat is in excellent condition along with his gear. His expertise put us on the fish all trip and we appreciated learning new bass fishing techniques. We also appreciated how engaging he was in conversation; it was a joy getting to know one another. Highly recommend booking him. We’ll definitely be returning customers!

Great Trip with a Perfect Guide
We really enjoyed this trip. Cody was a GREAT guide, he put us on the fish and said go! He was low key, kind and knowledgeable! He was willing to help set up my bait and cast and knew when the fish were at the biting at the hook and walked you through the whole process. It will be fun, even if you have never fished and if you have he has tons of knowledge and expertise to share! He sends you home with fish to eat and a recipe to cook them as well! Thanks Cody!
