Finomenal Adventure Charters provides a fun and exciting experience, either freshwater or saltwater fishing.

Enjoy a relaxing day drifting on Lake Monroe or riding the waves at Ponce Inlet. You won’t be disappointed! Finomenal Adventures uses a 17’ 1720 Key West 2021 Center console, ready to accommodate 3 plus passengers. Your captain will provide rods and reels. Kids from 5 years and up are welcome!

These waters are known for Largemouth Bass, Common Bream, Flounder, Crappie, Pompano, Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Snook, Sunfish, Spotted Seatrout, and more. During the trip, you might be spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

A first mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips, and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip!

It’s always a good idea to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Smoking is not allowed while the boat is in operation.

Truly Phenomenal Experience

I took my son for a morning trip to catch “anything”, because he has had a string of bad luck the last few times he and I went fishing back home. This trip was a fantastic time and we were treated like family from the minute we got out of our car at the dock. Captain James was kind, attentive, personable, and passionate about fishing the Florida waters and made us feel like we were just hanging out with a friend. He made sure we knew what we needed to do, offered guidance, and brought us to some beautiful spots where we were able to make some great catches, including a beautiful bonnethead shark to end the morning. If I could, I’d go out with James at least once a week - he’s that good and worth it by a wide margin.

Phenomenal Finomenal Captain's. Burke

Background: This was my first time going out on a small chartered boat to fish with my grandson and husband. AND the weather for Florida was very cold, windy and cloudy. Needless to say I was somewhat anxious. Well, Capt. Burke with his calm, confident, personable and professional nature immediately assured me that we were in good hands and in for a "finonemal" time. Not to diminish the fishing experience (caught 17 fish--more on that later), but Capt. Burke gave us a tour of the St. John River and its inhabitants--land, air and sea. The tour and the information on the sights and his stories were very interesting. He was determined to ensure that we were not happy, but ecstatic by taking us to several known fishing "holes" where my 10 yr old grandson caught a 31"/20lb channel catfish in addition to 16 other catfish and "shell crushers". We truly had a phenomenal and unforgettable day spending it in the good hands and heart of Capt. Burke. His kindness and love for fishing is contagious and very appreciated. We have already planned our next fishing excursion for better weather. Thank you Capt. Burke. We love Finomenal!!!

Captain was so enjoyable to be around and no man on earth enjoys their job more than he does. He did everything we could to make sure we got on to as many fish as possible in some of his personal favorite spots. I would say I would highly recommend him, but I dont want him to get so popular that I wont be able to book him again for myself!

This was an AMAZING TRIP!!! It was everything I’d hoped for and more! The captain and his son were engaging, informative, knowledgeable, helpful, intelligent, fun!!! Great day with Capt Burke!

Took my 13 Year old daughter out for a day on the water with Captain Burke - was the highlight of our week! Capt. Burke was awesome, made sure we stayed on the fish, caught a really nice variety and ensured my daughter had a good time. Would recommend Finomenal Adeventure Charters to everyone, especially if you have a younger kid going out - he made sure we all had a great day and for me, that was the win! Thank you Capt.
