Took a trip with Captain Burke and had terrific action from start to finish. You won’t find a more courteous and professional guide. Communication before, during, and after our trip was fantastic and it went way beyond “fishing talk”. Captain Burke was willing to go above and beyond to see that we had truly memorable morning in beautiful natural surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks. I wouldn’t hesitate to fish again, and again, and again aboard this fine Veteran owned vessel.

captain james was awesome to fish with very informative on the area and everything fishing and history and knew how to put guys on fish either guy that already knew how to fish and someone new to it and had a blast i would recommend james to all my friends and other anglers 10 out of 10 if i come back this way i would book with him again

The trip was amazing!! he helped us on our first charter trip and even let my son bass fish, which wasn’t included in our package! he took us to a few different locations were we all caught so many fish! even a Gar!! we highly recommend and will definitely be back on our next vacation to Florida! thank you !

had alot of fun cruising the river ans put us on a ton of fish. James is a great person and gets as happy as we did every big fish we caught. couldnt ask for a better experience.

I took my son for a morning trip to catch “anything”, because he has had a string of bad luck the last few times he and I went fishing back home. This trip was a fantastic time and we were treated like family from the minute we got out of our car at the dock. Captain James was kind, attentive, personable, and passionate about fishing the Florida waters and made us feel like we were just hanging out with a friend. He made sure we knew what we needed to do, offered guidance, and brought us to some beautiful spots where we were able to make some great catches, including a beautiful bonnethead shark to end the morning. If I could, I’d go out with James at least once a week - he’s that good and worth it by a wide margin.

Background: This was my first time going out on a small chartered boat to fish with my grandson and husband. AND the weather for Florida was very cold, windy and cloudy. Needless to say I was somewhat anxious. Well, Capt. Burke with his calm, confident, personable and professional nature immediately assured me that we were in good hands and in for a "finonemal" time. Not to diminish the fishing experience (caught 17 fish--more on that later), but Capt. Burke gave us a tour of the St. John River and its inhabitants--land, air and sea. The tour and the information on the sights and his stories were very interesting. He was determined to ensure that we were not happy, but ecstatic by taking us to several known fishing "holes" where my 10 yr old grandson caught a 31"/20lb channel catfish in addition to 16 other catfish and "shell crushers". We truly had a phenomenal and unforgettable day spending it in the good hands and heart of Capt. Burke. His kindness and love for fishing is contagious and very appreciated. We have already planned our next fishing excursion for better weather. Thank you Capt. Burke. We love Finomenal!!!

Took my 13 Year old daughter out for a day on the water with Captain Burke - was the highlight of our week! Capt. Burke was awesome, made sure we stayed on the fish, caught a really nice variety and ensured my daughter had a good time. What a surprise my wife provided my son and I on this Father’s Day’s weekend! We had a phenomenal time on the water with Finomenal Adventures. Captain Burke was on his A game taking us to all his fishing holes and we just dropped bait and caught fish. His attention to detail, in particular with my son that’s new to fishing, was nothing short of amazing. Knowledgeable, kind and generous with his skills and time are just a few of the characteristics captain Burke demonstrated to us. We will definitely be hiring Finomenal Adventures for our next fishing trip to the ocean!

My son and his grandfather had a great time. They said captain James was so nice and tried to teach my new fisher as many tips as he could. He even caught a few pics of the trip and sent them to me. 10/10 would recommend and my son is already trying to plan his next trip.
