Lake Monroe is generally considered to be the point where the St. Johns River becomes “navigable, so you’ll find plenty of charters dotted all along Sanford’s shoreline. Depending on what you want to get out of your adventure, you can opt for a four-, six-, or eight-hour trip. Shorter trips are perfect for newbies and young anglers, whereas longer trips will give you the time to explore a variety of waters and chase your target fish.
