Species like Great Barracuda, King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Wahoo, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year. You can expect to do some trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your boat for the day is a 43' Bertram with room for 8 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Trips are run with the help of a First Mate.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain. It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), a towel and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
