SEASON IS HERE AND SO ARE THE FISH!! Spend the day with Seafoam Charters and find out what the fishing in Everglades City is all about! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Slade can tell you all about them.
Species like Redfish, Mangrove Snapper, Snook, Tarpon, Spotted Seatrout, and more could be biting, depending on the season. For them, you're likely to jig using light tackle. Capt. Slade also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
You'll be casting lines from an 18' Shallow Sport Skiff with room for 3 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. It's recommended to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Great trip! Finally caught my first trout!

It was such a pleasure fishing was Capt. Slade, we caught lots of fish and had a blast and he put me on my first trout! Overall would recommend 100% if you are looking out to go out and catch some fish. Will definitely be booking again!

Great time! Lots of fish!!

Had a fantastic morning excursion with Capt Slade and two of my kids. He was ready when we got there, boat was clean and well outfitted. We went right out and landed a keeper trout at the first spot - dinner was served that night. Capt Slade was extremely helpful with my kids (and myself) with baiting and keeping our equipment running smoothly We tried about a 1/2 dozen different spots, catching fish at each of them. In the end we all had a great excursion and caught a good quantity of fish from about 6 different species. Awesome experience!

Captain Slade was absolutely amazing, he got us on fish at the first spot we hit, my 8 year old son kept talking about how much fun he had and how awesome the captain was when we got home. Next time we are in the everglades we are definitely going to book with him again

Fun day on the water
