Species like Redfish, Mangrove Snapper, Snook, Tarpon, Spotted Seatrout, and more could be biting, depending on the season. For them, you're likely to jig using light tackle. Capt. Slade also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
You'll be casting lines from an 18' Shallow Sport Skiff with room for 3 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. It's recommended to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Me and my two boys went out on a 4 hour trip. We got right into fish after a 15 boat ride spent the whole four hours catching em. Even though it was a bit windy we managed to avoid the wind and fill the cooler. Captain Slade was great with my kids as well!

A great day with Captain Slade. A young Captain with a wealth of knowledge and the Everglades in his veins. He worked very hard to put us on a variety of species. Plenty for dinner tonight and he will absolutely get my recomendation!
