Waterboy Charters – 18' Shallow Sport
Season is here and so are the fish!! Don't wait, book now as the calendar is filling up fast!
There is no better time to go on an inshore fishing trip with Waterboy Charters in the Everglades National Park/Ten Thousand Islands. Capt. Slade may be young but he has grown up fishing in the Everglades and knows where to take you to get the most out of your trip.
You'll spend the day on an 18ft Shallow Sport Classic. This beautiful boat can fit up to 2 friends for fishing plus the Captain. This vessel has a 115 Suzuki engine and pairs this with the full navigational equipment, including a fishfinder, and you'll be on top of the fish before you know it. The wireless trolling motor on board will also give you that extra edge in chasing down your prey.
Species you'll be targeting include Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, and Spotted Seatrout. Tarpon is a great species for testing your fishing skills – the Silver King puts up a fight once hooked, and in over 60% of cases will break free. Reel this in to get complete bragging rights!
You'll be using a variety of fishing techniques, from trolling to jigging and popping. Whatever your skill level, there is a fish out there with your name on it. Kids are more than welcome on board and life vests are provided. For their comfort, the captain recommends bringing your own though.
Included in the price are top-quality Penn rods and reels, and all bait and tackle. Live bait is usually caught before the trip. After your trip, the captain will fillet whatever catch you decide to keep. Capt. Slade will also let you know the best restaurants to take your catch to be cooked.
You are welcome to bring food and drink along, which can go in the captain's cooler on board.
Book now and start making some amazing memories with Waterboy Charters – you're sure to come back time and time again.

myself and my two younger boys had a great morning fishing. We all caught a variety of fish. Slade was knowledgeable of the area and helped with casting and handling the fish. At the end he cleaned and filleted our catch. We all thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a kind review! It was a pleasure fishing and exploring the beautiful Ten Thousand Islands and Everglades National Park with you. I am glad you had a good time and look forward to fishing with you again in the future. Thank You Capt Slade Johnson Waterboy Charters Seafoam Charters

We had an awesome trip and can’t say enough good things about this charter. Captain Slade may be young, but he is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and clearly knows these waters inside and out. He really understands the lay of the land — where the fish are, how they move, and what works in different conditions. You can tell he puts in the time and takes pride in what he does. If you’re looking for a hardworking, well-prepared captain who knows Everglades City and the surrounding waters, this is the charter to book. We’ll absolutely be back.

Captain Slade was very well prepared and ready to depart ahead of schedule. He was patient and professional, answering all our questions. He put us on fish immediately and we didnt linger in one spot too long. Overall, an outstanding experience. Will highly recommend Waterboy Charters to all interested parties.
