First Fish Charters offers is ready to take you out for some amazing fishing and great times on the beautiful waters around Vancouver. Famous for being some of the richest Salmon territory in the world with an annual population of up to 30 million fish, you can be pretty confident you're going to land something special!
You will be fishing aboard Captain Warren's 30 ft Boston Whaler Conquest fishing boat. She is the perfect tool for the job, built for a life of hard service at sea, and kitted out with GPS and fishfinder to track down the best catch, and everything you will need once you have found them. She also features an enclosed head for extra comfort and convenience on those longer trips.
Captain Warren specialises in Salmon fishing, with a lifetime of experience and high quality tackle, lures and bait provided. Besides fishing, you will also get the chance to catch some Dungeness Crabs and Prawns on your trip too, laying a few traps on the way out then hauling them in on the way back. This is a great way of making the most of your time and coming home with a huge haul even on a half day trip.
All First Fish Charters come with bait, water, and a free cleaning and filleting service for anything you want to take home.

First class skipper and boat

Went out with Warren for five hour fishing trip this morning. We were fishing near Cowans Pt, on the SE side of Bowen island. Landed 5 coho and 5 chinook salmon. Largest was 7-8lbs.
Also saw humpback whales, dolphins, Eagles and a seal in the harbour!
What really made the trip though was Warren’s calm and confident nature, his conversation and knowledge on all things fishing, AND his all round good humour and nature.
He guided and never instructed, just instilled confidence from the moment stepped onto the boat.
I’ve only ever fished once for salmon before in Scotland - totally different experience and majority of that due to Warren and the amazing local environment.
A truly wonderful, lifelong experience morning.

Excellent day of fishing

We enjoyed a beautiful day on the water with Fish First Charters. We caught several unfortunately several had to be released because they were undersize, or closed season for keeping Chinook & wild Coho. We did bring home 3 coho and enjoyed one for supper that evening.
I was very impressed by the quick reply from Fish First Charters when we were booking; also his informative communications for preparing for the day.
