While the fishing was slow for most of the fleet, we did catch a 250# blue marlin. However the boat was in need of repairs specifically the oil leak on the #2 engine which was over heating. The fighting chairs lack gimbals for the butt of the rod, to compensate for this they had 2 worn out (buckles and fasteners) fighting belts of insufficient size for the 2 anglers on board. Did not even have bags for the catch.
On the plus side it was the captain and crews experience that got us that fish.
