Hoping to catch some Big Bass on Headwaters Lake? Morrell Fishing Adventures is where your adventure begins!
Largemouth Bass and more inhabit these waters, depending on the season. You'll target your catch with artificial baits, live wild shiners, or both!
You'll be welcomed aboard a 21' Blazer 625 Pro Elite Bass boat with space for 4 passengers. It comes pro-level loaded with 3 to 4 Lowrance HDS live graphs with std, down scan, side scan, live scan, 10' power poles, and a 36v Lowrance ghost trolling motor for the clients to find their Florida trophies! Valerie will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
Before coming aboard, it may be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
It's recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Long sleeve wicking or fishing shirts are recommended along with buffs and hats. It's Florida and you can burn year-round. Ice and bottled water will be available for you. Clients are encouraged to bring snacks, sodas, or sports drinks if they prefer. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. No glass bottles.

I had my 2 grandson's age 13 and 10 with my son-in-law for 6 hour charter..from beginning to the end Valerie efforts to make sure the boys had success and fun were met ..her patience with the 2 boys was amazing..her instruction on casting and knowledge of the lake and where the fish were biting made a huge impact on them..29 bass were caught and some were lunkers..I would highly recommend Valerie especially if you have children that love to fish

Had an absolutely amazing time on our bass fishing charter with Captain Valerie! From start to finish, she made the trip fun, relaxing and incredibly successful for fishing bass. She brought top quality bait, baited our hooks, and made sure everyone was comfortable and confident throughout the day.
Captain Valerie clearly knows the waters. She took us straight to the best fishing spots, and we caught a ton of bass. Her boat was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with excellent gear that made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We had both beginners and seasoned anglers in our group and everyone had a great time.

To be completely honest, I was hesitant when I saw our fishing guide was going to be a female. What a fool I was. Valerie hit it out of the park and knew far more about the lake than what appeared to be any other guys fishing around us. We caught 67 largemouth bass, all of decent size. She’s my go to guide from now on. Absolutely fantastic.
